The undamaged box arrived just before Christmas and was promptly tucked under the tree - the obvious place for every package that time of year. Out of sight out of mind, the box was forgotten, until Christmas morning when our son - assigned elf - found the plain cardboard box, adorned with shipping tape, packing labels and delivery truck smudges instead of festive wrapping, Ooops. He passed the box to his new wife to open - good call. They were both thrilled by the hand forged look of the copper hardware since it matched the repurposed dry sink/copper bowl basin in their apartment. The install was a bit delayed, but each piece - even though hand-forged - is remarkably uniform in dimension end to end, and piece to piece - providing a very coordinated look among the three shower towel bars, the two hand towel bars and the toiler roll holder. The wax finish is there to slow down the natural tarnish accumulation of the copper, but it is not so much that it will come off on the towels. Gomer's Workshop supplied the mounting screws necessary, but we opted for copper screws we had purchased for some of the other shelving etc. in the bathroom. The pieces are pleasantly solid, the install was simple once I located the studs to ensure they were anchored properly. It's not every day or every renovation that calls for hand forged copper, but if I have a need I know where to go in the future. Cameron was very flexible with requests, and changes; he was prompt and clear with responses, and produced solid, distinctive products that will give any space a standout custom look.
